From May 9 to 15, the global tunnelling community will come together in Stockholm for the World Tunnel Congress (WTC) 2025. We’re proud to announce that Immontec will participate in the exhibition, together with TEC, Ramboll, and DEME Infra.

At our stand (B05:21), we’ll spotlight immersed tunnelling as a smart, cost-effective, and technically flexible alternative to traditional bored tunnels. By sharing insights from real-world projects, we aim to highlight the many advantages of this method — including its environmental performance and adaptability to complex geographies.

Representing Immontec at WTC 2025 are Peter van Westendorp and Arne de Jong. They’ll be available throughout the week to discuss project experience, share expertise, and explore how immersed tunnels can shape the future of underwater infrastructure.

Both will also contribute to Working Group 11 on Immersed and Submerged Floating Tunnels, collaborating with international experts to exchange the latest insights in the field.
