The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, spanning 2023 meters between its pylons, is the longest suspension bridge in the world. This iconic crossing demands millimeter accuracy, and that’s where IMMONTEC came in.
IMMONTEC designed and managed the operations for the float-up, temporary mooring, transportation and installation of two caissons that form the foundation of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge in Turkey. More about the projectThe Chioggia Flood Barrier, part of the MOSE project, protects Venice from flooding. The challenge was to precisely immerse eight massive caissons into the seabed, essential for the movable flood gates.
